Update =)

7^th grade report card is in and Benny did wonderfully! A’s all around! He does need to work on his time management and working more independently on assignments. I can’t believe my little boy is about to turn 14 and is about to start high school! He told me today that I’m more supportive of him than the average parent. I am so happy that he sees this and is able and willing to share it with me. It means the world to me! He also added that I was stricter too, but I don’t see that as a bad thing. For English Benny had to a poem and enter it in a school-wide contest. Turns out he was a poet and didn’t know it…he won 1^st place and got entered into a state-wide contest!

Our future mathlete! Benny is doing fourth grade math in the third grade. Again, he must get that from his dad! 

My crazy kid ;)

Benny is a poor sport like his daddy. I’ve caught him trying to cheat during games so we’re working with him to show him that it’s wrong. No one wants to play with a cheater. But he told me that I’m nicer to him than the other parents are to their kids. It was the sweetest thing to have him tell me that. He also added that I am stricter, but I think he knows that’s all a part of me loving him.
